The department has successfully treated critically ill patients with severe COPD, Asthma, Pneumonia and ARDS with Type1 & 2 respiratory failure with NIV and Mechanical Ventilation. The unit also provides domiciliary care services including home ventilation, CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) Therapy and LTOT (Long Term Oxygen Therapy). Post Covid management is also being provided. Adult vaccination, including influenza and pneumococal, are being given as per guidelines. Pulmonory rehabilitation services are available for patients with resperatory disease, as an attempt for improvement of quality of life for the patient.
